A message from Patrick:
Dear Peachland residents,
I respectfully ask for your trust, your support, and your vote so I can continue serving as your Mayor.
Together, alongside staff and partnerships with the provincial and federal governments, this council under my leadership has accomplished a great deal for Peachland—but there is still important work ahead.
When I ran for Mayor in 2022, I promised practical leadership, responsible financial management, and strong relationships with provincial and federal governments.
As Mayor, my job has been to represent Council and stand up for Peachland. Building those relationships matters, because every dollar we bring into our community is a dollar that doesn't have to come from local taxpayers.
Every decision I make will continue to be guided by one principle: doing what is best for the people of Peachland while protecting every taxpayer dollar.
I invite you to see what we've achieved together—and what we can continue to accomplish with your support. Thank you for taking the time to visit this website and learn more about Council's accomplishments and my vision for Peachland's future. You can also find answers to many common questions on this website's FAQ page.
It has been an honour to serve as your Mayor. I hope to earn your trust and your vote so that, together, we can continue building a stronger Peachland.
Warm regards,
Patrick Van Minsel
Mayor, District of Peachland

Delivering Results for Peachland
Together, Council has brought in millions in government funding to Peachland.
For me, this isn’t just about dollars and grants. It’s about making sure we get our fair share of funding from senior levels of government — and that local taxpayers don’t have to carry the entire cost.
As Mayor, I’ve spent a lot of time meeting with ministers, government agencies, and funding partners to make the case for Peachland and push for the support our community needs.
This means more childcare spaces for families, better housing options for seniors, more trails for our community, and better infrastructure — without putting the entire bill on local property taxpayers.
I believe that’s what responsible leadership looks like: working hard, building relationships, and bringing outside dollars home to Peachland.
Leadership That Delivers
I truly believe leadership is about listening, bringing people together, making responsible decisions, and getting results.
Over the past four years, Council has invested in roads, parks, public safety, recreation and community infrastructure, while securing record levels of outside funding.
My role has been to represent these priorities, advocate for our residents, and ensure Peachland has a strong voice when dealing with the provincial and federal governments.
There is still important work ahead. We must continue to secure funding for sewer infrastructure, strengthen our long-term water supply, improve emergency services, upgrade roads, and plan responsibly for Peachland's future.
If re-elected, I will continue working with Council, staff, senior governments, community organizations, and residents to keep Peachland financially responsible, welcoming, and a great place to live.
